1. NewBorn
Unlike most mammals, a dolphin calf is usually born tail-first so it doesn’t drown during birth! The moment it is born, its mother quickly nudges it to the surface of the ocean to take its very first breath of air through its blowhole.

2. Calf
A calf cannot hunt for fish yet. For the first 12 to 24 months, the baby relies entirely on its mother’s milk. 3. Growing Calf
